Recommended Reading (Actually, I have all of these books in my library, and these aren't the ones I'd give away, these are keepers, which is saying a lot when you live on a boat with very minimal space)

I think you'll be interested in these books. I'm obviously not trying to just to make money, if you'll notice, one of the books is .08 cents. Anyway, the first book Maiden Voyage is a must read for anyone planning on making any extended ocean passages. Tania Aebi is inspiring and she makes you feel if she could do it, anyone could, which is true! The Cruising Life, my all time personal favorite, is the book that really turned me on to cruising. How to Buy the Best Sailboat is a timeless book with good, solid advice for the novice sailboat buyer.

World Cruising Routes by Jimmy Cornell, absolutely necessary for planning offshore routes to anywhere in the world. World Cruising Handbook by Jimmy Cornell, really helpful, includes info on every country, (ie: flag, currency, etc.) The Morrow Guide to Knots is essential. My husband loves this book, and he is an expert on nautical knot tying.

Cruising for Cowards, awesome book by Liza Copeland. I've met her twice, anything she's written is good to have. How To Sail Around the World by Hal Roth, great reference book, anything by Hal Roth is of value. The Annapolis Book of Seamanship, you have to have it if you're going to sail, this is often used as a textbook in sailing schools.
Please feel free to search for any books I have not listed here. Also, if you have any reading suggestions, please post them in our forum, it would be much appreciated.
