"Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover." - Mark Twain

Who Are We?
We have been cruising the US East Coast, Bahamas, and Eastern Caribbean for seven years now. We stay in one place for months at a time to work and rebuild the cruising kitty. For now, that place was Marathon in the Florida Keys.  We arrived there in March '08.  Worked at a restaurant for  two months, made some quick cash and did some fabulous diving.  Now, we're heading back up the coast, probably to the Outer Banks of North Carolina.  Usually, seasonal places are best for us. We don't have time to wait around and become established in the year round community. We find we fit in better with the world travelers and vagabond crowd. Those types are usually at opposite ends of the spectrum, either super-rich or really poor. We manage to fit in between somewhere. No matter where we go, home is always with us. We live aboard our Bayfield 32C, Puff, a Canadian built cutter designed by Ted Gozzard. She is a stunning headturner of a sailboat, with classic lines and an elegant bowsprit. She is a solid cruiser, and so sturdy that we can feel safe in all types of conditions.

Note: Puff is currently for sale for $49,000, we have our eye on a slightly larger cruiser. Why? We're in our early thirties and our small family is bound to grow one of these days, why not be prepared?

Brian Pucella
The Captain. He's been sailing since childhood. He has cruised the Bahamas and the Virgin Islands with his family.  He also crewed on deliveries as far as Puerto Rico.  He is a United States Coast Guard Licensed Captain and has single handed several coastal deliveries as well as a solo Bahamas cruise on Puff, his Bayfield 32C.
Brian's profession is currently in construction, he is a very talented carpenter.  He holds a marketing degree from University of North Carolina in Wilmington.  He's also very skilled at marine wiring, plumbing, (although I've recently taken over the plumbing department, as his apprentice in training), diesel engine repair, fiberglass repair and woodworking.  He likes to surf, fish and do just about anything in or on the water.

I'm the First Mate and webmaster, I have also been sailing since childhood. My earliest memories include the five of us, (my mom, dad, and my younger sister and brother), sailing Lake Ponchartrain in New Orleans, Louisiana on our little 23' Ericson sailboat.  I am a  writer.  I like anything outdoors.  I think the world is very beautiful when viewed from the deck of a sailboat.  I am into self-sufficient living and fascinated by all things ocean.  I have made a life out of living on islands since 1994.  I have lived on several different islands over the years, and now live on our own floating island.  I enjoy traveling and learning to see things from new perspectives.
